Herbst, President of KLH Fire Safety Consultants, LLC, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Fire Safety and Prevention Consultancy. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

With an impressive background that spans 30 years of professional experience, five of which have been as president of KLH Fire Safety Consultants, LLC, Mr. Herbst's expertise lies in fire safety. Aside from overseeing the daily operations of his business, he is responsible for inspecting public and parochial schools and conducting fire safety training classes. He became involved in his profession because of the experience he gained from being in the fire department as a fire inspector. Mr. Herbst is a member of the Nassau and Suffolk County Chapters of the Buildings and Grounds Association and the New York State Association for Superintendents of School Buildings and Grounds, and the International Code Council.
