Ergonomics Help People Thrive, says OHS's Frank Maguire

Mr Maguire, who was a founding member of FedEx Worldwide, a former head of programming for ABC Radio Networks and a consultant to two US presidents, was speaking at the National Ergonomics Conference and Exposition (NECE) in Las Vegas last month.

His presentation, "Motivation, Inspiration and Ergonomics", discussed the importance of ergonomics from a human standpoint. "Organizations can look beyond 'survival mode' and use ergonomics to help their people thrive," said Mr Maguire. "In this time of great challenge, there is also great opportunity."

Using personal anecdotes and motivational stories, Frank Maguire spoke to ergonomists directly. His audience responded positively.
