Anthony D. D'Esposito was awarded the Navy Meritorious Service Medal for Proven Leadership

WILDOMAR, CA, September 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anthony D. D'Esposito, Master Chief Quartermaster, E-9 with the United States Navy's Safety Department, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in defense services.

As a U.S. Navy Master Chief Petty Officer with recognized success in various positions of leadership, Mr. D'Esposito's military expertise is in Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Operations, Training and Safety. In his current role, he oversees the Safety Program including Navy Occupational Safety and Health (NAVOSH) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards for 700 individuals, He also supervises, implements and monitors safety rules and regulations. The highlight of his military career was standing the watch as "Field Grade In the Wire" (FGIW) in Camp DELTA at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, overseeing 120+ guards in the daily caregiving to 500+ terrorist detainees. Looking ahead, views himself as a departmental director within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). He also aspires to become an adjunct professor and teach both criminal justice and leadership.

Mr. D'Esposito is pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Safety with a concentration in Emergency Management at Capella University. He holds a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Leadership and Executive Management from Kaplan University (2009) and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justioe, Summa Cum Laude, from Colorado Technical University (2005). Mr. D'Esposito also holds Professional Certificates in Corrections Technician, Law Enforcement Skills, Crime Scene Investigation, and Legal Studies and Court Process, all from Colorado Technical University.
